ANIMALS HAVE NO NATIONALITY

First Popup Clinic Summer 2024

• In July 2024 TSKF joined hands with World Veterinary Service (WVS) India to conduct a free Spay/Neuter program for dogs and cats at Madurai through a one-month camp at Madurai, Tamilnadu, India. Although "owned" these animals are free roaming.
• The animals were operated on and rabies vaccinated by WVS trained veterinarians.
• Post surgery, the pets were handed over to their owners or feeders along with post-operative follow-up medicines an instructions.

• Owners/feeders came not only from Madurai city but also from nearbytowns such as Dindigual, Rajapalayam and rural areas like: Thirumangalam, Koothiyargundu, Kusavangundu, Cittampatti, Maathur, Nathamm, showing the need for control of free roaming cats and dogs.
